Does the FL240E turn on by itself when the power fails?
Yes. It runs in maintained mode and switches to its internal LiFePO4 battery automatically when mains fails, holding a 15W emergency output for 120 minutes.
How long does it run in a power failure?
120 minutes at 15W. The battery fully recharges in about 24 hours once mains supply returns.
How do I switch between 120W and 240W?
Use the wattage selector at the base of the unit to match output to the application without changing the fitting.
Where can I get the full specifications?
Download the data sheet from the product page. For project-specific documentation, contact our team.

Installation & testing

Who can install the EFS-FL240E?
It must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000, which also keeps the warranty valid.
How do I test the emergency function?
A test button at the base of the unit, next to the wattage selector, simulates a mains failure so you can confirm the switch to battery. The charge indicator shows battery status at a glance.
